Review: This book was written by an individual with tremendous creative spirit; not only are the illustrative photographs captivating but the text as well. My library includes a handful of how-to books on stained glass but this is the first that taps the artistic juices and invigorates the hobbyist to visualize possibilities. I've seen other books that profess to inspire but they've lacked the one-two punch found here. Paintings by celebrated artists are broken down into roughly-sketched patterns leaving the reader inspired to look about their own walls and see potential stained glass pieces. The wire-bound binding assists the book laying flat when used as a tutorial and the advice on color and glass selection is terrific.
