Summary: Aviod this Book
Review: Common, Will. You obviously know your roof cutting, but that doesn't mean you can write. In fact I found this book so poorly illustrated and worded that it took me hours to recover.

Anyone with experience in carpentry will certainly appreciate the Fine Homebuilding Larry Haun books for their immediate usefullness and practicality, as well as their fine illustrations, design and wonderful clarity.

However Journal of Light Construction falls short with Will Holladay's, A Roof Cutter's Secrets. It's beautifully bound, but horribly written.

I'm asking for my money back, and I intend to get it.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: For Professional Only
Review: This is not for the weak minded - keep in mind that roof framing is the most complicated of all carpentry and almost no one knows how to do it - put it this way, my husband makes a great living doing almost nothing but roof framing. This is the book for someone who seriously wants to learn a real craft and be a competent and respected carpenter.
