Review: I do not own this book as yet but have borrowed it from our local Library. We are getting new puppy soon and I have found the book very useful with information for a new puppy. I have used several of the ideas on my adult dogs as well as a refresher course. And I'm happy to say I have seen improvement on leash walking in just the week I have had the book. I really like his calm and no stress methods, just takes a little patience and time. This book does not cover things like crate training but if you are looking for a good book to help with teaching your dog the basics like; heal, sit, stand and come, and having a better understanding of what your puppy or dog needs from you, it is a good place to start. I'm sure there are better books out there for the more advanced but I find this one easy to follow and understand. I plan to order it so I have my own copy for reference.
