Rating: Summary: My creativity with the help of the book rose to 110. Review: After reading "Stenciling on a grand scale" from cover to cover I could not wait to redo my home and business. I have used old wallpaper books, old borders, enlarging or shrinking pictures to make my stencils. I have amazed my children and husband with what I have learnt. This spring I am tackling all the exposed house foundation, with beauty. Thank you.
Rating: Summary: Hard Cover Quality In a Paperback Review: Grab this book without hesitation!I saw the author on the show, "Home Matters" and was instantly motivated to buy this book. When I saw that it was available in both hard- and soft- cover verrsions, my decision was difficult. Usually saving a few bucks on the paperback version of any book means sacrificing quality; thin paper, fewer illustrations, shortened versions. etc. When I opted to buy this in the paperback form, I was expecting the usual compromises. I was, joyfully, wrong! This book not only boasts the easy instructions and wonderful pictorials of the hardcover version, it also has wonderful, high quality paper stock rarely found even in hardcover these days. The quality of this book will stand up to years of planning and crafting!

Rating: Summary: Hands On - How to do - Great! Review: I found this book to be very helpful. I was struggling with a large painting project and realized I could use stencil techniques to portray the the ribs of the saguaro cactus I was working on. The stenciled drapery examples were just what I needed for inspiration. The instructions were very clear and complete. I would recommend this book to first timer stencilers, as well as seasoned painters. The examples were inspirational. THANKS SANDRA!
Rating: Summary: Stencilling on a Grand Scale Review: I love this book! It has been great for teaching me to do all kinds of things I didn't know how to do. I have been stencilling for about eight years now, and my stencils looked pretty good, but her ideas makes my stencilling look GREAT! I have many books on how to paint everything you can name in a home. You name it and I have the book on it, but this is the first book that I thought was worth the money I spent on it. I wish I had bought this book eight years ago. I now have no fear in doing a full wall mural in my living room. This book is a have to have if you are into stencilling, or if you would like to start stencilling for the first time. GET IT!
Rating: Summary: Great for beginners and Experts Review: I purchased this book 2 years ago. At the time I did not know they sold stencils until I purchased a few stencils on their website along with their video. The book is easy to follow and they give you many ways to incooporate simple stencils. This book encouraged me to create a mural from a small picture and brought out a talent that I never knew existed. Well done. Fantastic pictures with great color which I feel either makes or breaks a simple stencil or a 5 layered stencil. I would highly recommend their book, stencils and their video. If I can learn, anyone can!!!! A+++++
Rating: Summary: The best stenciling book I've found Review: This is my favorite stenciling book, and I have quite a number of them. The only one that comes close is her sequel: Projection Stenciling. Ms. Buckingham has developed a remarkably easy, yet professional looking technique that can be easily used by anyone. The results resemble paintings or murals more than stencils because of the lack of stencil "bridges" that the usual stencils have. I have used several of her ideas and am relishing the thought of further projects. You will love this book!
