The first tells the story of the development of the Miata and also traces the history of the many sports cars that inspired the designers. The text is accompanied by beautiful photos of everything related to this wonderful little car. Photos include versions of the car through sketches, clay models, alternate body style mock-ups, to the final production machine. There are even photos of the many individuals who contributed to the design and manufacturing of the Miata. The other volume is a gorgeous photo essay showing the car in many locales.
