Grouped into four categories--friezes, wallpapers, and screens; practical household items like place mats, a lampshade, plates, and a wastebasket; furniture (tables, cupboards, and a chair); and accessories such as planters and boxes--the 39 projects are fully explained and nicely illustrated. The motifs themselves range from the traditional floral, fruit, seashell, and butterfly variety to the more unusual, such as international paper currency, newspaper clippings, Greek vase figures, and even plain tissue paper formed into representative shapes.
