Rating: Summary: should be called generally vague refernce book Review: Being a novice in woodworking, i'm trying to familiarize myself, by reading books on this subject, and this book falls far short of my expectations, it tries to show or cover, too much in a very limited space, the content,lacks.. it seems incomplete, short in the explainations, and the photos are equally disappointing.. (buy a patrick speilman book instead)
Rating: Summary: Excellent reference book on the versatile Router Review: This is an indispensable reference book by a master. Ex editor of the prestigious Woodworker magazine, Zachary Taylor is an expert in his field. Clearly written with excellent 'quick find' tabbed chapters, and covering all the topics needed to answer questions on technique. This book is not for reading end to end, although you can if you wish, this is a benchtop reference book. Contains jigs and devices I have not seen covered anywhere else before. This book will be a constant source of answers to all those questions you constantly ask yourself.
