Rating: Summary: another chance Review: Ingrid's book shows how it is possible to teach children the fine art of quilting. For quilters with children Ingrid proves that they are almost never too young begin to quilt. The book shows some of the templates used in the class with her students, and some of the designs her children come up with, reflecting their imaginations and quirky personalities. It is full of pictures, designs and examples of things to do with children in the art of quilting. The Small Folk Quilting group has since grown; the children in the photographs have grown up, and many of them still quilt avidly. This book gives quilting another chance and way of teaching quilting to children, in a time when the art was almost lost and no longer being taught. It is simple to understand and very approachable. Definately something to have on your shelf.
