Summary: Cool Ideas For Cool Stuff!
Review: It's hard for me to justify buying craft books. There's always one or two good ideas and then a bunch of stuff I'll never make. This book is different. Its first draw is that the projects are easy. You won't invest a lot of time but you'll get some really great gifts and decorations for your home. Most projects have very short material lists. The directions are easy-to-follow and there are good illustrations.

There are quite a few projects that would be good to make with kids, like "stained glass" candleholders made with tissue paper glued onto glass hurricane shades. For an investment of (little money), you could make several. I can't wait to make a memory collage. All I need is a frame, some foam board, a small piece of fabric, and mementos. It's a great and quick way to display the movie tickets I've been collecting for the past several years.

There's really something for everyone in this book. Each time I look through it, I find more projects I'll likely make. There are easy painting projects: sponge painting on planter boxes, stenciling on storage containers, and more.

Yes, there are projects I'll never make (I won't name them so I won't offend anyone!), but there are enough that are interesting to me that make this book worth having.

If you're looking for some quick ways to jazz up your home, or make really nice gifts that don't cost an arm and a leg, this book is a great investment. This book would actually make a great gift, paired with a few small craft supplies. Enjoy!
