Summary: Every household needs one!
Review: I highly recommend this book to everyone! It has so much useful information about maintaining a house. My book has bookmarks stuck all through it for the pages I constantly look at. Some of my favorite features are:
-which tools and cleaning products to use on various surfaces
-how to remove stains from laundry (the suggestions REALLY work!)
-the chapter on entertaining has excellent ideas on planning and pulling off a party with separate sections for different age groups
-arranging furniture and choosing a color scheme for home decor
-how to arrange flowers
-home repairs- this book can even keep you from having to call the plumber!
It would make an excellent engagement or wedding gift or for someone leaving home for the first time. It also would make a great textbook for home-ec!
