Summary: If I hate it so much, why do I keep reading?
Review: Another typical installment in The Sword of Truth series. I get done with each book wondering why I even bothered to finish it, but then for some reason read the next installment. Very poor character development. Richard is the only one I can stand. Anyone who didn't see that Drefan was going to be the killer was asleep at the wheel. Does anyone else have a tough time picturing this world? I can never seem to get a clear picture of anything. I do see similarities to Robert Jordan, but Jordan uses these motifs masterfully while Goodkind just throws them in whether they fit or not. I should give this book 2 stars if only for the fact that I actually made it to the fourth book in the series. In conclusion, I'll probably still read the next book

Summary: So far the book is AWESOME!!!!
Review: I am only on page 513 but the story so far is amazing. I have found myself reading 200 pages at a time. I can't get enough! The new characters are getting more interesting by the minute. What I need to know is, is that Tristan Bashcar the one who murdered all those whores or was it Drefan, like I've been hearing lately?

I can't wait till Soul of Fire comes out. I've been reading so slow lately that way I won't forget what happened in Temple of the Winds before I get the new book. I need this new book. All I can say is that if there are no more in the series after this next book than I am going to go crazy. I think I am in love with this series. Well, keep writing Terry, and know that I'll always be a fan, now and forever. GO TERRY, GO TERRY!!!!!!!

Summary: Once again this is an excellent fantasy novel.
Review: I am a 38 y/o working mother with a family, and I enjoy reading fantasy novels. However, Terry Goodkind has captured me with his Sword of Truth series, since novel no.1. Reading his novels is my relaxation after work is over and the children are asleep (my time). Thank you Terry.

Summary: This is the first fantasy series that I like
Review: I tried to read Jordon fantasy but I couldn't get into his story for some reason, I tried him first because he suppose to be a big writer maybe he is for some so I had to put it down. So I decided one more try with the fantasy if I can't get into this then forget it and was goodkind wizard series I have enjoy every book he put out . I think its depend on your taste of writing to me this guy is the best compare to Jordan. Now I'm trying r.r. Martin he pretty good to but Goodkind would be my favorite.

Summary: This book is awesome!
Review: First of all, I just want to say that Terry Goodkind could never be compared with Robert Jordan. He's way better than Robert Jordan. I think that plot is fantanstic. It's never predictable and always has twists and turns that keep you reading. And that's more than what a lot of fantasy writers can say. I defy anyone who claims Goodkind's books are boring! Plus, Goodkind has a great sense of humor. How could anyone not think Zedd is funny? I think he wavered a little with the Blood of the Fold, but overall, his series has been hugely successful for good reason. I am eagerly (and impatiently) awaiting Soul of the Fire.

Summary: EXCELLENT!!
Review: Mr. Goodkind is an excellent author, and all four of his books in the Sowrd of Truth series are wonderful. The Temple of the Winds is an exciting book, and I read it in only a few days because I was so captivated by it. I am eagerly anticipating the next book in the series. Well done!

Summary: Eww... the fifth book better improve
Review: I first was addicted to Terry good kind with his first 3 books. But this book was a total disappointment. It had no plot advancement, and suffice to say, the cover art was the only thing good in the whole book. Not that I really care, but it is strange that as soon as Robert Jordan gets into a writer's block, Terry Goodkind starts writing plotless books. Hmmmm...

Summary: This book is great, excellent....A MUST READ
Review: Well, I only have one thing to say here...This book is great. A great fantasy novel that incorporates many different subjects and incidents. I was personally glued to this for most of a Saturday because of the whole plot. I am anxiously awaiting novel #5 in the SoT series. Now, I will briefly say something about the whole issue about the whole adult content issue. This book was obviously written for Adults....So There is no need for it to be appropriate for kids. If parents are upset over this, then monitor what the kids read.....

Summary: Temple of the Winds, painfully good
Review: This book has it, i really mean that. I have never ever read a book that made me feel so misserable and joyfull at the same time. First Richard is heroic and compassionate with his subjects, then one of his beloved Mord-sith dies, then Kahlan and Richard betray each other in thought but not for real. I almost scared me that a book could have such a devastating influence on my general mood. For the first time in my life i cried for a character in a book.

Keep it up Terry, but please be a little bit more friendly to the characters i started to love over de passed months.

Summary: F A N T A S T I C !!!!!
Review: To all those out there that think Mr Terry Goodkind is a Robert Jordan clone, double raspberries on you, I suppose you think Mr Jordan is completely original, well let me tell you something, I could sprout off Names like Tolkien, C S Lewis and Frank Herbert, just to name a few, God knows how many other authors are out there who have written Fantasy before Jordan, with similar ideas, judge the story on its own merits, and its enjoyability factor, so please enough with the GOODKIND/JORDAN comparisons already!!! besides, at the rate that Jordan goes Terry will probably be supplying him with FRESH NEW IDEAS, (as well as how to write faster, does any one remember the storyline of that Rand something fellow???)Anyway I enjoyed the 4th book in the series the characters were excellent, and the story line kept the series continuety going, cant wait for the next installment, I hope Terry keeps on writing and ignoring useless criticism!!!
