Review: I first read these books out loud to my two older sons
ages 5 and 8. We loved the stories, and found them very entertaining. When I saw the audiotape in the library, we rented it and both of our children as well as my husband and I enjoyed it. We have an Italian background and found the stories he tells to be realistic and funny, exactly from a childs perspective. Depaola's memory for facts and details is amazing. Hearing the stories in his own words is very entertaining. He truly speaks on a level children can understand. I plan on purchasing this audiotape so we can listen to it again and again and so our third son will enjoy it too. I have rented and purchased other children's audiotapes but this is one of the best I have heard!!! (I am sure my children would agree!) Enjoy!!
