Rating: Summary: A loving look into the true essence of being. Review: Mary T.'s sharing on her experiences and knowledge of our spiritual lives is a way to reconnect to the essential truth of our being spirit in human form. It allows for some straightforward answers to concerns we all have about moving forward in our development. It gives me greater peace to have her visions of what is beyond this life. It fills me with gratitude for her guidance.
Rating: Summary: Fascinating!! Review: Ms. Browne is clear in her beliefs and in her presentation of her subject matter. She answers the questions about life that all of us have and provides a feeling of at last having found answers that make sense! This book is definitely a "must read" for anyone who is searching for the answers to the meaning of life, the question of an afterlife, etc. It far exceeds anything that traditional teaching has heretofore offered.
Rating: Summary: Now I understand Review: This book is excellent for those who do not have a clear understanding of how beautiful life after death is described. I am the eldest of three sisters whose mother passed over (as described in this book)on October 17, 2001, and my yougest sister who was always with my mother is having difficulty adjusting to her absence, and i believe once i share Mary T. Browne's writings on life after death with my sister, she too will better understand how to deal with our mother's passing over.
Rating: Summary: "Life After Death" A Lifesaver! Review: This book was given to me by an uncle about two months ago in light of a conversation which he and I had had regarding my contacts with the spirit world from the age of three. These encounters I always understood to be a part of me, and even at three, they were never frightening... I am now twenty eight; and when I received this book, a force kept me from reading it... unexplainable, but true. Yesterday, it suddenly called out to me and I picked it up.. I didn't put it down until I was finished! Ms. Browne confirms for me all the "feelings" that I had about death and, indeed, life itself. I know that past lives certainly influence our present work; so far I have flashes of three of my lives, and coincidentally, one of them was in Ancient Egypt! I also have vibrations around the Dark Ages, being in a castle on a hill, somewhere in Europe. I just know that it is neither England nor France...could it be Scotland also? The entire time that I was reading the book, I felt that I had either found my mother, or one of my most powerful earthly teachers... either way I would give anything to have one conversation with Ms. Browne; I believe that she holds the key to putting into perspective what I feel my purpose in this life is... A marvellous book! Everyone should read this to console themselves about this phenomenon of "death" I do not belive that any skeptics can dismiss this book so easily!! Comforting, enlightening, and for someone like me, a lifesaver!
Rating: Summary: SUPERFICIAL TREATMENT OF A PROVOCATIVE TOPIC... Review: This is a quick, easy read of a provocative and timely topic, considering that baby boomers are aging rapidly. It is unfortunate, however, that the reader does not get to know much about the author or her alleged psychic gift. This has the effect of creating somewhat of a credibility gap between the reader and the author, making what the author has to say not particularly believable. Perhaps, if the author had given more information about herself and her gift, the accounts that she gives would ring more true. This would have made the book more effective. As it stands, the book, although somewhat thought provoking at times, lacks depth, and fails to fully capture the reader.
Rating: Summary: The Real Deal Review: This title best makes sense when reading Mary T. Browne's other two books, which are now out of print. I went to see her several years ago, and before I had even sat down, Ms. Browne told me several facts about my life that nobody else knew, and that she had no way of finding out. She also made several predictions and observations about events to come that have since come true. She does not promote herself, and often works with the terminally ill, helping them and their families prepare for crossing over. I would consider any information she gives in her books to be valid and worth thinking about.
Rating: Summary: READ IT Review: Worth reading. A great book. I believe Mary and life after death!
