Summary: It was ok i thought it really wasn't a true life encounter
Review: This book was in the middle of my least favorites and most favorites. This book didn't seem factual because it didn't seem like a true life story. Nothing that can happen in real life. It was ok but certainly not the best book i ever read.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great Book
Review: I enjoyed the book very much. It had great detail and showed how a teenagers mind thinks. It made you always wonder what was going to happen to Holden. It was easy to read and follow along. I recommend it highly.

Rating: 5 stars

Summary: I enjoyed the book very much and highly recommend it.
Review: The novel was fantastic. It related to teenagers in every aspect. It was full of adventure and I couldn't put it down. Any teenager who is tired of reading boring novels should read this.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great for teenager in junior level English
Review: This book is one of the greatest books that I have read being here at my high school. It is better then reading a book about a minority. It gives excellent insights on a teenage boys life and hardships. I recommend this book highly for anyone about the age of 16.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I really enjoyed it.....
Review: I really liked the book and how Holden's problems could relate to problems that teenagers today have. Some of the things that Holden does I wouldn't agree with like all the swearing and the drinking. Running away to New York is one of the things that Holden did when he got kicked out of school- even though I don't agree with what he did most teenagers want to or try to run away from their problems.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good book
Review: I really liked this book because I could relate to it. Many of the things that Holden had to deal with I could understand where he was coming from. Although it was only a span of three days it was a very interesting book to read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great!
Review: I have read this novel as a teenager, as an adult, and now as a teacher teaching the novel to high school students. Each time I read it, I enjoy it more and more and find deeper and deeper meaning.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Pretty Funny
Review: This book was an easy read, and a good narrative, except there was no plot! if you can get past that, then you will enjoy yourself reading about 3 days in Holden Caulfield's life. As a teen, i easily identified with his story of boredem, discontent and all the "phonies" in one's life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A few passing thoughts on "The Rye" from my dorm-room cell
Review: As long as you are not offended by what happened outside the Dakota building in 1980, you will love this book. Salinger's colorful descriptions and use of language make you feel like you are 16 years old, wandering around New York City. It is littered with thoughts and ideas that teenagers have in todays day and age. But the hardest part to figure out is where is Holden Caufield when he is telling this story? A guy asked me that once in Washington Square Park, and I absolutly coulnd't remember, so I picked the book up and read it again. Salinger out did himself on this one.
