Summary: amazing
Review: This book is truly one of the most interesting, best written books I have ever read. The historicial facts can be taken with a grain of salt but the theories behind the novel are very interesting. I would highly recommend this to anyone who loves looking at religion in different ways!

Summary: The Da Vinci Code
Review: This book is very cleverly put together, it is unbelievable how well Dan Brown takes the little things that we see and put them together. Anybody and everybody should read this book

Summary: Well told story, wacky theology
Review: This book is written in an engaging style and the story draws you in quickly. The writer's knowledge of France and Art is impressive. The mystery aspect is pretty well done also, but there are HUGE problems. The bizarre theology and deep and ongoing conspiracy theories are hard to tolerate. The wacky theological presentations are especially offensive to devout Christians, accurate historians, and others who respect the Bible.

Summary: Just Like His "Angels and Demons" Which is Both Good and Bad
Review: This book is, as noted before, as a "Can't put it down!". However, I felt I was just going through the motions.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good read. It just seemed like déjà vu all over again. Langdon is woken up in the middle of a night with a phone call and is instantly running around Rome and now London again solving ancient puzzles and fighting secret societies.

Again, using historical and present-day reality brings a sense of urgency to the book. But what happens when Brown runs out of secret societies to write about?

Summary: One of the worst books I've read
Review: This book just goes to show that my theory about famous authors being on the bestseller list is true. They can write any boring, ridiculous pap and still be there 10 weeks later anyway. After being told by my son - who NEVER reads fiction - that he could not put this book down I decided to read it even though the subject matter held absolutely NO INTEREST to me. I got to about page 150 and I had to give up my endless suffering and boredom since I was doing EVERYTHING else but reading this book.

After my husband read it (he never reads fiction either) I made it my mission to complete this to see if I was in fact missing something. Well, life is too short for me to ever go past 150 pages of a book ever again if I didn't like it to begin with.

This so called "page turning suspense" is ludicrous since the "suspense" ends a mere page later and all I could think of was the one dimensional cardboard characters running all over on a wild goose chase that I didn't care about in the first place.

Give me a break! I should never listen to people who don't read fiction and I will continue to go by my rule that being on the best seller list doesn't mean ANYTHING about the QUALITY of a book. WHAT A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! I would have enjoyed root canal more.

Summary: Excellent Read
Review: This book keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Gripping
Review: This book kept me in rapt page-turning attention from page 1 all the way through the end. Awesome! And very intelligently written too.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A page turner...
Review: This book kept me intrigued the whole way through. Just when you thought you had things figured out, Brown threw another curve ball your way. He also brilliantly straddled the line between fact and fiction, making the reader question whether his "fictitious" plot had any truth. This is the best book I've read all year, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Summary: Engrossing, Engaging & Enlightening
Review: This book kept me up at night, and reaching for it whenever I had a free moment! A fantatstic, wonderful read - Intelligent, and yet still easy to read and understand. The anagrams and various other puzzles contained within this book were entertaining as well as engaging - Overall, a phenomenal read that gets my highest remarks! Definitely a worthwhile investment of time and energy!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Action & excitment but disappointing ending
Review: This book kept my attention as one puzzle lead to another. Brown's writing is clear and gripping. But the ending was a disappointment. I enjoyed the Defenders of the Holy Grail more.
