Review: I'll tell you what. If you want to read a book that has predictable plots, unbelievable twist, and is just generally stupid, then get this book. After reading Addicted, I decided I just wasn't a Zane fan. But with all the ranting and raving about her books, I decided to give her another chance. I mean, one book out of seven other ones...she's bound to have a good one in there somewhere, right? WRONG!
I don't know, is it just me, or are all men just that stupid? I know for a fact that most men who have any sense ain't just gonna sleep with a woman just because she is beautiful within the first two minutes of meeting her. An hour,maybe. But come on! Can you at least ACT like you are trying to get to know her. That is what's so stupid about this book. Is Zane a man? What woman thinks like this? I know that this is a story, which means the imagination and sensationalism is key, but can it just please have some realism. Some. A little bit. Please.
And (if you haven't finished the book, don't keep reading) the part about her dad molesting her just comes from about the furthest part of left field that you can expect. But ofcourse the doctor in the book already knew this (by some super-fantastic psychological instinct I guess). Just dumb.
I gave her two stars, only because I thought the fact that the MPD idea was quite interesting, it just needed to be in another story. By another author.
Save your money.

Review: I read Addicted and when a member chose Nervous as a book club selection. I started reading and was thinking another book by Zane with nother but Sex.I almost didn't finish,but I didn't want to pay the find for not reading the book.I kept reading and it began to get better.The last two chapters was the bomb. Jude wrote a new meaning for the word love. Jetta was the suprise. Jon was in so much pain all of her life until she met , a real man by the name of Mason and love changed her life.
You never know who has secrets .Nice work Zane.

Review: this is the best book zane has ever written. i loved addicted, but this really could have been part two of addicted. MPD is a serious disorder to have and it is brough on by past experiences of serious child abuse and this is revealed in "Nervous". Zane is a wonderful writer and she needs to keep on writing this way. i think this is movie worthy. i just wish someone in the movie industy would take a look at our black novels and turn them into screenplays, then we can have better choices of movies to see. i mean, if we have to see a "booty movie", let it be a movie with class and realisum and real drama and this book is a good pick to see. i can see halle b. working this. hey halle, are you reading?????? hello, Jude is calling you!

Review: This is old cliche but "Zane is off the hook". I read this book and I loved it. The book started out a little slow but its worth it. When the book starts pulling you one way and then it pulls you another way. This book keeps you on your toes and keeps you wondering what's going to happen next.

Review: I first started reading zane in the middle of this year. She has a way of writing that makes you feel like you are write there. This book as no exceptions! The way she portrays a sexually scaried female with another personality that is her EXACT opposite is amasing. Zane had me fliping through this story like no other author has. I am currently reading her next book "SkyScraper" and it is great!
