Rating: Summary: Brilliant!!! Review: It's been a long time since I've read a novel so full of heart, and soul. Christopher David takes us through the lives of four young men searching for love and affection in a world full of disappointments. I laughed. I cried. I felt as if I lived the life of these men. It is most definitely worth reading. Can't Wait for your next novel Mr. David!
Rating: Summary: The Review Review: Love being the central theme of this book was a key them amongst all the characters involved in this promising debut by Christopher David. Complicated. Sad. Real. These and other adjectives describe the way I feel concerning this book. I finished the book this morning and what a read it was. I liked it. I had my moments where I laughed at some of the scenes, got all giddy and was like "Thats what I'm talking about," dis-appointed in others, and still out the loop concerning something else, but I enjoyed the book "I'm On My Way." I applaud the author on speaking for those who have not been heard. We need more authors, specifically black gay authors, who speak for each of us, as no one author can speak for us all. So much I want to say, but I will say this, "PICK UP THE BOOK," so we can talk about it (lol)... I will say this...LOVE YOURSELF FIRST, and that is what I got from this book although it was something I have always known, but it re-iterated that for me as I can and will not make someone love me if I don't love myself. A relationship as much as I want or feel that I need one, will happenon its time and when I least expect it. It will just happen and will not be forced. In closing, and I will end it with...Why does everyone have to be beautiful? What about us average Joes? Be blessed and I wish you well this Monday, December 8th... Justin

Christopher David gives you an excellent story with descriptive characters that will make you mad, chuckle, cry, reminisce, and most importantly, stir your soul. This is definetly a story that needed to be told. I strongly recommend this book to anyone struggling in "the life" or to anyone who simply loves a good book. It touched my life. I dare you not to let it touch yours.

Rating: Summary: Relationships Review: This is a must read!!! This book has so much emotions in it. Christopher David has wrote a book that will teach you about Life, Love and spirituality. I really must commend Christopher David on a job well done. I'm not much of a reader, but this book spoke volumes to me. Thanks Christopher David....
Rating: Summary: Buy It, Read It! Review: This is the best book I have read in years. Not since Wally Lamb's 'I know this much is true' have I foound myself so totally drawn into a book. This time though it was far greater.
As Someone else who reviewed this book stated, I bawled. The reality of the story alone is enough to bring the emotions forth. I found myself relating with so much of what the characters went through. The story is expertly woven to reach out and touch so many. So many of the pitfalls of relationships are pointed out here.
This is the book for any gay man that is struggling with love and the desire to love and be loved. This book has impacted me in a way no other book has ever done before.
I will end this with one statement: After I finished this book, I cried for over an hour.
Buy It!
Rating: Summary: Off the hook Review: This multilayered novel rooted in the lives of gay Black men is off the hook. There are so many affirming, sad, tragic, hopeful messages that it's hard to beleive they could all exist in one book. I think of this book as a major wake-up call. In addition, there is a super surprise ending!!!
