Summary: Total disappointment
Review: I loved the original Watership Down. It was exciting and gripping, the characters were distinct and likeable. It was a book obviously written because the author had a story that he wanted to tell. "Tales," though, is a hollow, picaresque, cash grab. The audience wanted more, so Adams just slapped out some stuff from his story notes and watched the money roll in. It lacks the charm and meat of its predecessor, and the characters seem to be, well, out of character. Save your money, I say.

Review: This is somthing that almost gave me a heart attack at the library. So I read the original as an assighment, and loved it, but when we had to turn it back in I wanted to buy it so to read it agian,so I go to the library and im looking on the wall then boom bam! It hits me, the hardcover edition of Tales From Watership Down. I swipe the book and read it in 4 hrs ( It is short even though it a fat book) I was pleased but I think mr Adams should make another sequal not dealing with Watership Down but another warren somwhere out there. I KNOW HE HAS THE IMAGINATION! For all who think the Watership Down books suck they have no imagination and should stick with the little golden books about their favorite cartoon characters. Heck now I have a rabbit companion in my room! They really are smart creatures! Who has seen What Dreams May Come ? I hope heaven is like that becouse I would be in a warren!

Summary: This book is pretty good.
Review: I think this book is good, but it is definitely a little slow in the beginning. It gets pretty suspenseful in the end. I would only recommend it if you like real classics. Watership Down is in a real place, but it does not seem like it because the author uses very descriptive language. I think Richard Adams really knows how to make you use your imagination. Summary: Lapine values and life
Review: This is not a chronological sequel to "Watership Down." It is a series of stories on the lives of our lapine heros and a collection of their myths about their proto-hero, El-ahrairah. I like the myths as they provide insight into rabbit religion and values. The stories of Hazel and the others in the warren are like letters from friends. As the companion of a rabbit named Hayzeal, I found these stories express well the lapine mind and spirit, both at Watership Down and in my own life.I have listened to the audio cassettes narrated by Nigel Havers many times on the way to and from work. For the true friend of the Watership Down rabbits, Tales from Watership Down is indispensable.

Review: I wasn't as disappointed as some were, although it wasn't as good as I was expecting. I was expecting a full-fledged story, rather than a collection of shorter stories. It's still a good book though.

Review: I'd rate this book 1 billion stars!!!!!!!!!! You must buy this collection of tales!!!!!You will get a lot out of it!!!!! It is so easy to understand and it is really short!!You will read it from ni-frith to fu inl'e! I really enjoyed this book and I think anyone will like it! It is very compelling and adventurous, and is very discriptive. This book should be translated into every language. I'm sure a lot of kids would enjoy this book, and I am one of them. "The Sense Of Smell" is a very imaginable story. You will enjoy reading the two last stories of part 1. Mr. Adams is an excellent writer! You MUST READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! Please!Read it with a pfeffa(cat), in a hrududu(car), ni-frith(noon) or ALL THE TIME!!! It is very enjoyable!! It is a story of many rabbits adventures and hedgehogs and the dangers of man. This story should be an addition to any personal, private or public library. I got excellent pictures in my mind of what was going on. Summary: If you enjoyed Watership Down, READ THIS BOOK!!!!
Review: When I heard there was a sequel to Watership Down I went crazy, I started screaming in the middle of a shop! If you're a fan of Watership Down then this book is a must. However I don't think anyone could claim it's as good as the original. It gets a bit confusing, and you really have to have read the original first to understand the plot. Still, an excellent book. Love Hazel.

Summary: A book that leaves you beging for more.
Review: As a fifth grader I thought that this was a wonderful book. Yet it was also a challenge to read with many confusing parts. Even though it was challenging. I loved every minute of it, and recommend it to a more advanced audience. In the story there is a group of rabbits who live on a down, and have a lot of adventures but none compare to their big fight with General Woundwart (you can read about that in Watership Down another novel by Richard Adams.) One adventure is when Hyzenthlay (one of the rabbits) goes out to stay with an injured rabbit and then brings her back. My least favorite adventure is when a rabbit named Sandwort who is rebellious and disrespectful falls in a well and two rabbits save him. I think this book is a great book but like all books it has its flaws such as: they have more stories then adventures. The book is not long enough and it needs a little bit more details. But still I gave gave the book 4 stars because it was good. The way it held my interest was by leaving you in suspense. I thought Tales From Watership Down was a great book you will to.
