Review: This latest attempt at a history of Italian Literature for the English speaking world was highly recommended in a review by Giulio Ferroni in the Corriere della Sera (one of Italy's most important newspapers). Giulio Ferroni is himself the author of a highly regarded history of Italian Literature (in Italian). The writers include Lino Pertile and Franco Fido (both from Harvard), Paolo Cherchi (The University of Chicago), and others.
