Review: Tabea's Story is a quick but engrossing read. There is just enough history interjected to set the scenes Tabea describes from her experiences as a German army nurse. Her view point of WW II does not focus on the military aspects but more on the personal sacrifice, suffering and impact of the war on her life and those around her. This would be an exceptional book to add to any high school or college reading list. It is a great combination of history and personal tale.
