Summary: Disappointed!!!
Review: I have always heard great things about Ms. Morrison's books, so I was eager to give this one a try. Big mistake!!! The plot is the same old, tired tale of using sex for money, men and women dogging each other out, cheating, lying, etc. While all of these elements have the potential to make a good story, they just didn't work in this book. You find yourself not caring about the characters at all; there was no depth. Instead of spending so much time focusing on Savoy exploration of her sexuality, more time should have been spent on Fancy's inner demons, other than a cursory view of her mother's past relationships with men. I may try to read some of the earlier books that I've heard so much about. However, I caution fellow readers to perhaps try those books first before investing in this hardcover.

Summary: Great Book!
Review: I have to tell you, this was a great book to read. The author is writing a series inter-mingling the characters from Soulmates Dissapate, Never Again Once More and He's Just a Friend, into her next novel and I can't wait.

Fancy Taylor is selfish and self-centered. She is out for only one person and that is herself. At first I didn't feel sorry for her, but as you read the novel and come to understand why she does the things that she does, you can't but help feel sorry for her.

Desmond believes he loves Fancy, but she does him wrong repeatedly, but he is always there for her. Her best friend, SaVoy is a little naive when it comes to relationships between men & women, but as the novel progresses, you will find out why she is as naive as she is.

I don't want to give away any real details of the story line, but would highly recommend you read this one ASAP. Do not wait for it to come out in paperback. Go buy the hardback, you will not be disappoined.

Way to go Mary Morrison! Can't wait for the next one.

Summary: Can't Wait
Review: I liked this book it was a good read. This book gave us a look insite in to the life of a gold-digger whores. We get an understanding of why they do what they do. Fancy she acheive the life and the status she wanted but at a high cost. These "sponser" seem not to care very much for her. They run off and get married, rape her, and all most kill her. You will not be able to put it down. I read "Someboby Gotta be On top" now

Summary: A page turner
Review: I loved this book. I read it in 9 hrs. I can't wait for Mary's next book to see what happens with Darius and Fancy. I already know Darius background from Mary's previous book. I realy hope we get to the root of Fancy's problem. To me she came off to be really selfish. She took her friends for granted and only used them. I think she truly belived the world revolved around her, but I was rooting for her. I was really hoping she would come to her senses and see the good man that she had. Desmond was there for her every time she called but In the middle of the book when she stood him up again for that no good Byron I felt kind of sorry for him because he truly deservred to be treated better. I was happy for Savoy that she finally got her man.

Summary: Mary, Mary, Mary!
Review: I read an excerpt of this book off Mary's site and knew this was going to be one of my "must reads". I was pleasantly surprised to find that what I thought I knew was waaaay off. Mary did an outstanding job with the complexities of her characters and had me tearing up pages 'til the very end. I read this book in 1 day & can see why this book is flying off store shelves.

Summary: Wonderful Book
Review: I really enjoyed "He's just a friend". I think Mary writes in such a way that makes you really feel the characters. At the beginning of the book I couldn't stand Fancy, and then I started feeling sorry for her because she knew nothing about love. "Ms. Kitty" was going to take her to the top or so she thought. Desmond was the typical brother, who was in love with someone who would never love him, because she was all caught up in herself. I liked how Savoy was trying to save herself for the right person, and that when she did suffer some weak moments, Tyrone did not take advantage of them. Now that is what I call a man. I like how the book ended. She didn't end up with Desmond, Like I initially thought. It was okay though, because she probably would never appreciate him. This book was so good, and so real. I can't wait until August, So I can find out what going to happen with Fancy, Wellington, Diamond, Darius, and the whole clan.

Summary: Shocked
Review: I was shocked to find out when I read He's Just A Friend that it was not to my liking at all and I repeat my liking.

Typical story of giving up the kitty kat for cash, clothes and cars. Wanting a man, but know he is no good for you and ignoring the one that really loves you. There was no twist to that lemon of a book at all. All of Mary B. Morrison's book are the bomb except this one. I don't know what was the point in that book. The only highlight was she reintroduced Darius Jones from Never Again Once More. Darius at the end of the book hooked up with Fancy, the main character of the book. Don't know what happened with them I guess we will have to read the next installment of this drama.

There was some mediocre plots to the story, but nothing to right home about or tell a friend.

Later!!!!
