Review: Encontrar este libro en mi pais me llevo un año ya que estaba agotado cuando al fin lo logre obtener me di cuenta porque en una entrevista que le hicieron recientemente para un documental de television a Garcia Marquez afirmo que era el mejor libro que habia escrito,no cien años de soledad como la gente piensa sino este libro,la verdad que he leido la mayoria de ellos y estoy de acuerdo que este es el mejor que ha escrito hasta el dia de hoy.EXCELENTE

Review: Es imposible no compartir algo con Florentino Ariza o Fermina Daza. Si en algún lugar alguien tenía que explicar cómo es que es universal el amor y cómo se vuelve tan incoprensible para los que no se han contagiado de esa eterna enfermedad (y aún para los que la padecen) ésta es una lectura obligada.

Review: García Márquez is genius. I loved his book, especially how it started with Juvenal Urbino and Fermina Daza as the old married couple, and then moved to Florentino's unrequited love for Daza, and the former's marriage and life with Urbino. Very well written. Detailed. Weaved back and forth in time effortlessly. Magnificient. And I read it in Spanish, which was a special treat. BUY IT AND READ IT IN ANY LANGUAGE!

Review: Antes de comenzarlo sabía que me iba a gustar, porque ya había leído varias obras suyas, pero nunca imaginé que llegaría al extremo de no poder soltar el libro ni un minuto, porque una vez que comienzas a leerlo no puedes parar hasta terminarlo. Gabo narra sus historias con tanta magia, con tanto detalle y con tanto cuidado que logra ensimismarnos y meternos en lo más profundo del alma de los protagonistas, haciendo que vivamos la historia como si fuera la nuestra.

Review: Being born and raised in Spain, I was able to read this book in Spanish. Apart from being literary wonderful, the story is simply breath-taking. Passion, desire and love have never been described and told better than here. And, once again, I have seen, that love is the only power that makes you do things you wouldn't normally do. There is no explanation for what you do when you're in love. Just like Florentino Ariza.

Review: Excellent work from Gabriel Garcia Marquez! Had to buy the same book nine times, as anyone borrowed just did not return. Every person on earth loves one for a lifetime and proudly I can say that I am one of those that feels like Florentina Ariza, counting the days (has only been 1 year, 8 months and 21 days), with faith. Thank you for giving strength to me with this book, Mr. Marquez...
