Summary: Excellent Erotic Novel
Review: This novel is set in China in 1862 and is a fine blending of a love story with very erotic scenes. After he is captured by Chinese women warriors, the narrator (An American officer) is whipped into submission. Later, however, he falls in love with one of the young Chinese women and willingly surrenders himself to her. The book is presented as non-fiction with the author writing only the introduction and the notes. Supposedly, the manuscript of the narrator surfaced in a New York auction house recently. Whatever, I love the descriptions of China of the period, the realistic atmosphere which the author obviously researched well, and particularly the descriptions of the Chinese women warriors. The ending is quite moving, as well. It is a very unusual erotic novel which offers a lot more than the usual cliched "discipline school" type of the erotic. It also offers food for thought on the nature of female dominance and the role of love between a dominant female and a man who worships her.

Summary: Adventure, domination, history, and eroticism at it's finest
Review: What an exquisite book and a total surprise. Well, maybe I shouldn't have been totally surprised since Blue Moon seems to find books that are teetering on the edge and the reader never really knows what to expect.

This book is a fictional account based on fact and history in China in the 1860's while China was in the middle of innumerable wars and conflicts for its riches and wealth.

Considering that at the time the birth of a female to a chinese family was nothing to celebrate, an army of young women 'Christian' called the 'Taiping' formed to battle with both foreign mercenary armies and Chinese armies for control of the country. One of these bands of zealous agressive and fierce fighters captured a young American officer, 'Thomas Rowley' who was then given to the 19 year old 'Sweet Little Sister' as her slave.

Rowley describes his ordeal and his eventual submission to the will of the little soldiers. It must be noted that the author spends more time on the adventure of the tale rather than the erotic content one may have expected from Blue Moon ..

I gobbled up the book in one reading and, like all good books, felt disappointed when it was finished ....

Summary: Don't Miss This One!
Review: Wow! Whew! Beautiful Chinese women with whips, a moving love story, Chinese culture and history, plus great erotic scenes!! This is without question the best and most unusual erotic novel I have ever read. Complete with a well thought out plot. Don't miss it. This is the way erotic novels should be.
