Summary: Not my cup of tea!
Review: Another sizzler from The Black Lace Series. I really enjoy the erotic antics in this particular series. A series which offers so many wonderful writers in this genre to choose from. Always a story to suit everyone...everyone that is into erotic reads. Nice job on this one Ms. Tyler.

Summary: Alison Tyler fans rejoice!
Review: As a fan of the author's lush erotic style, I have to say that this book sexually thrilled me. (It's THAT sort of a thriller.) Tyler paints a perfect picture of a noir Los Angeles, starting with a bang with a fantastic sex scene up by the Hollywood sign and featuring a dreamy scenario at a invitation-only party. The noir-style plot serves her well. She is able to utilize fetishes from voyeurism and exhibitionism to costume play, bondage, and spanking. In this book, two roommates with different sexual agendas get their chance to play each other. The dialogue is hot and sexy. (The shower scene is truly amazing.) Although not as dark a novel as "Venus Online" or "Dark Room," this is definitely one of Alison Tyler's best.

Summary: Not Impressed
Review: I had a very hard time reading this book, it just did not keep my interest. I have read other books by Black Lace that have made it very hard for me to stop reading, and this just was not one of them. The eroticism was lacking and the sudden closing (death) was so ackward. I did not enjoy this book at all.

Summary: Ho .... Hum ......
Review: I had real, and I mean real problems getting through the book without falling asleep. I will have to admit that speed reading has never served me so well.

The subject of this book has already been beaten to death in that we have Carolyn, a hip DJ in the LA area, with a screen name of 'Stormy' (.... Yawn Yawn ... ) lives with Dahlia, can you guess, the much sexually liberated roomate. I mean the names even send connotations of their roles up my spine. So what does Carolyn do, why spy and eavedrop on Dahlia .. of course ...

The cover says its a tense dark thriller ... I say give me a break ...

Summary: Not my cup of tea!
Review: I thought this book seriously lacked a plot. It was mostly sex and some kinky at that. The plot was not thought out and not explained at most times. I would not recommend this book if you're looking for a little something more than sex.

Summary: Great characters and hot sex...
Review: I'm an Alison Tyler fan after reading this hot little book. Unlike most other adult novels I've read, this is well-written, has a storyline that twists and turns, and the characters are multifaceted. (...)

Summary: Where James Ellroy stops, Alison Tyler begins...
Review: Reclusive deejay Carolyn Winters becomes obsessed with listening to (and ultimately watching) the various delightful sex acts of her flirty roommate Dahlia. Through Dahlia's outrageous erotic conquests (with a range of attractive partners), Carolyn discovers her own sexual appetite. Not your normal mystery, this book achieves great success as an erotic thriller. Even more importantly for the X-rated connoisseur, this noir-style sexual romp through Los Angeles delivers something for every fetishist. Lovers of tickling and marabou will experience a great thrill at reading Tyler's feather-light descriptions. Also included are scenes written for bondage enthusiasts, spanking fans, exhibitionists, voyeurs, and much, much more.
Alison Tyler fans will definitely love this book! As will anyone who favors the thrill of a down-and-dirty, naughty sex tale.

Summary: Tyler writes another erotic delight!!!!!
Review: Strictly speaking, Alison Tyler has worked her erotic magic once again! This super-hot tale of the seamier side of LA strikes straight to the bone. This superior plot line is only enhanced by the sex, sex, sex that permeates the book. I couldn't put this one down! Buy this book for its hot scenes, cool story line, and great adventure.

Summary: Ending could have been better
Review: This book started off pretty good.Lots of great sex scenes and Dahlia really had it going. The ending was stupid and didn't fit with the rest of the book. Was the author trying to justify the book by writing a "novel"? It didn't work and really turned me off.Don't waste your money.
