Review: What a great first novel! This is a highly entertaining and engrossing tale of the relationships between fathers and sons, husbands and wives. The native dialect of the Carolinas is authentic and familiar (being a native myself, it made me feel closer to the characters). The interplay of these all-too-human characters revolves around an engaging murder mystery.
"Eden" is a like a mix of Deliverance and Snow Falling on Cedars.
I would highly recommend this book.
