Summary: the first one is a masterat the top of his form
Review: This is it! It's his best ever! Great action, cahracters, and locations. the ending is really riviting.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Great story, possibly best war time book
Review: The possiblity that this actually happened adds to the effect, great characterisation, mix of backgrounds - wonderfull read, pity most of his other books seem to be rushed formulaic thrillers.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must read!
Review: I've read this book twice and I want to read it again! Each I've read it, I became so captured by the action, I felt as if I were there. I felt I knew the characters and both times I was surprised at the ending. I also like how Higgins tied in the fact with the fiction. After I read, I wanted to know what really happened and what he imagined! Anyone that likes history, especially World War II, must read this book!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: amazing! couldn't be better!
Review: THIS IS A MUST READ FOR EVERYONE! IT HAS SUSPENCE INTRIGUE AND LOVE! THE CHARACTERS ARE REAL PEOPLE!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazingly good
Review: When I first read it (and I read it 3 times now) I discovered a piece of history itself. Jack Higgins has the gift of making every character one of a kind and the ability to make us love even the most evil vilain. "The Eagle Has Landed" is one of the best books i ever found, only comparable to John Toland's "Banzai" or the execellent books from Walter Scott.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: WILL ME YOU BREATHLESS,NEVER A DULL MOMENT.
Review: A class by itself,i finished it in one sitting, & still wanting it to go on.First time a story of courage & honor from OTHER SIDE.Higgins has created characters that make you love them. A MUST READ.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: It's a masterpiece splendidly written by A GENIUS!
Review: I have read The Eagle has Landed for 3 times and it's simply difficult not to want to read it again. If you like World War II stuff this is THE BOOK! I've even seen the movie- with Michael Caine in it- but I must say, the book is far better. One of the best books written by Jack Higgins. Too bad The President's Daughter and Drink with the Devil were not as "moreish" as this one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thrilling, Amusing, and Captivating Up to the End
Review: With strangely likable characters and a masterful plot, this book is a first rate adventure. Read the whole thing if only to hear Churchill's final comment.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: One of the best books I have read
Review: Jack Higgens couldn't have done better. THIS BOOK IS A MUST READ.

Summary: The Eagle Has Landed
Review: I've read this novel for several times and always feel this is a remarkable novel I've ever read. But I doesn't like some of the chapters, especially the action really happend in the Church. How can Kurt Steiner, a brilliant soldier forget existence of Pamela, Molly for he has informed a lot about the village from Joanna Grey and Devlin, and he met Pamela and Molly respectively after landed in England? A terrible mistake made either by Steiner or Jack Higgins.
