Summary: Explosive Thriller
Review: This is the second of the Rogue Warrior series books I've read and it was just as good as the first in my eyes. If you like bombs, guns, and amazing clandestine operations.....this is the book for you.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: "NO NUTTED, PENCIL-NECKED, CANT NOVEL"!!
Review: After reading ALL of the "ROUGE WARRIOR" series , I'd have to say this is my ALL TIME FAV.!!! DEMO , a.k.a. SHARKMAN of the Brown water Delta pulls no punches in this action packed nonstop -KICKIN entry in the ongoing NAVY SEAL Based books. The cast of charactors are GRUFF but LOVABLE . You will easily lose yourself in the action , possibly seeing yourself tagging along as suprises pop-up at every turn. Guarenteed not to disapoint. The Profane language is well applied , you would think you and Dickie are sitting in a bar sipping BOMBAY SAPHIRES and swapping war stories. Easy and exciting reading. Highly reccomended. Treat yourself today, GET THIS BOOK !!! Dont be a WUSS !. END

Summary: WOW
Review: This is truly one of the best books i have ever read. Marcinko knows his stuff. The description is amazing. I don't think the swearing ruins the book but is quite amusing at times and it had me laughing out loud. I can't wait to read the rest of the series!

Summary: Former Team member review
Review: As a former member of the Navy Seals who later became a psychiatrist after leaving the teams, it is always interesting to read the printed thoughts of my former fellow warriors. Mr. Marcincko has written a fine piece of embellishment that is full of action and machismo. As with the many type-A personalities in the teams, Marcincko has to have his way and spends too much time in the book explaining why his, and only his, way is superior and he consistently tells his tales so that he appears the victor in all situations. It is extremely amusing that the details surrounding his federal conviction (he wrote the book while incarcerated) are minimal while he previously spent multiple pages explaning minutae. Skip this book and choose one of the other books written by former SEALs that portray events more objectively.

Summary: Very Good But............
Review: Is this guy ever in love with himself. If you can over look this, no small feat I might add, one of the better books out there of its type. I have to wonder even though this is a work of 'fiction' if this book isn't based of some truth. I live in Virginia, very close to where much of the story takes place. The attention to detail is uncanny. Road names and route numbers, towns, stores, inns, bars are right where he says they are. How do I know? I've been to most of them. So read the book, but be warned about his ego.

Summary: his best book
Review: An interesting tale about the founder of Seal Team 6 from his formative years until the present. Explains how he became the man he is and why he chose the life of a SEAL. Too often he is self lauding and makes himself out to be the typical good guy trapped in a bureaucracy. These parts are so over the top, they come across as a parody. Overall, interesting and worth a look.

Summary: THE BOOK YOU JUST CANT PUT DOWN
Review: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK YOU WILL EVER READ THIS IS ONE OF THOSE BOOKS YOU JUST CANT PUT DOWN , IT'S LIKE YOU ARE IN THERE WITH THEM GOING ALONG FOR THE ACTION. IF YOU DODNT READ MUCH THIS IS A GOOD WAY TO START YOU CANT PUT IT DOWN ONCE YOU START. YOU JUST WANT TO GO ON, AND KEEP READING. I MUST WARN YOU THIS BOOK WILL KEEP YOU ON THE EDGE OF YOUR SEAT, I THINK NO MOVIE IN THAT CATEGORY CAN COMPARE TO THIS BOOK, FROM THE MOMENT YOU START IT'S LIKE YOU STARTED A MISSION AND YOU HAVE TO GO ON AND FINISH IT. I HAVE TO ADMIT I NEVER READ BOOKS BEFORE BUT AFTER MY BUDDY MIKE RECCOMEND THIS BOOK TO ME I WAS HOOKED ON IT. I ALSO LIKE TO SAY, TO CAPT. RICHARD MARCINKO I HAVE ALL RESPECT FOR YOU AND YOUR BOOKS...........AYE AYE SKIPPER.

Summary: Outstanding reading
Review: This book was impossible to put down. Demo Dick is the master of SPECWAR and sucks you into the book. You are actually experiencing what is happening in the book. The Sharkman has made me laugh so hard with his exploits that my wife thinks I've lost my marbles. I recommend this and the entire Rogue Warrior series if you like adventure, Special Ops, and want to increase your vocabulary. Have a Bombay on all of us badge wearing fans Demo Man, sir! ( spelled with a cu-r

Summary: As actionless as it was I couldn't put it down.
Review: Yeah that's right. There was not enough action, in my humble opinion. Sure there was SOME, but it almost seemed as if it were added in as an afterthought. Still, Marcinko's inside knowledge of special ops gave this book a feel of realism that I found compelling. Good reading if you like Marcinko's in-your-face kind of attitude where sometimes his attmepts at humour detract from what should be some serious moments

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Once again more Marcinko !
Review: How can anyone get tired of reading about the exploits of the originator of Seal Team 6. Not only are his exploits interesting but they are fact. Marcinko is a No BS type of guy that is very rare in America's Corporate setting. When someone at our company speaks his mind about something at a meeting and says it like it is, those of us in the 'know' say he just pulled a 'Marcinko'. Have a Bombay on us, Dickie.
