Rating: Summary: Action Packed Novel with a Good Background Review: Due to my former life as a Marine who served with VQ-2 in the 70's, I find these books very interesting. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series. Dave has put in some very subtle humor as well as jabs at political correctness which I find very entertaining. Each new release gets better. Keep up the good work, Igor.

Rating: Summary: Been there...... Review: I enjoyed this book very much. The primary reason is that the author's knowledge and experience in the Navy are reflected in his style of writing. He provides insight into the day-to-day, almost minute by minute tempo of military operations. He does not overwhelm the reader with technical jargon, but explains what is happening in a manner that draws the reader into believing that he or she is in the same environment as the characers in the book.As a naval aviation veteran, I was pleased to see the detail he puts into his stories - several times I was caught up in the story line and remembered details about being part of a multi-crew aircraft that I thought I had forgotten. For those of us who have served, that is a powerful stimulant. I found that this book, as well as the first in the series, was very difficult to put down at night. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the books in this series, as well as earlier novels by Dave Meadows that I have missed.

Rating: Summary: Baker's View Review: I was quite disappointed in this book. It read like a political document advocating the creation of an new Arab state. Although it tried to pick up where the first volumn left off, I don't feel it was very successful. Of the two books in this series, the first one was much better by far.
Rating: Summary: Another Great Sea Yarn! Review: Once again, I was captivated by Dave Meadows and his Sixth Fleet series. Like his first book, I couldn't put this one down. If he wrote more books I'd never get anything else done.
Rating: Summary: Superbly Outstanding Review: The book is one very hard to put down once I started to read it. Having served in some of the units Dave writes about, makes it even more intense. Dave has the real meat of the subject in his books. He knows his subject liek the expert that he is. Looking forward to reading more books by Dave.

Rating: Summary: The Sixth Fleet: Seawolf, another D.E. Meadows masterpiece! Review: This military thriller picks up where the first in the series -- The Sixth Fleet -- leaves off, and is packed with action and suspense. The author does great justice with acknowledging the true spirit of U.S. warriors -- SEALS, Marines, Spooks, battle-hardened heroes of our armed forces; even intriguing representations of inherent political dialogue associated with such military action. If you appreciate military suspense novels, this book is for you. A MUST READ! Looking forward for the next in the series! -9PS
