Summary: What a book! I read it in one day
Review: Richard North Patterson has done it again! He has written a book that delves deeply into the psyches of its main characters and then throws a terrific twist in to boot. I couldn't stop reading just to find out what was going to happen next. The courtroom scenes are as riveting as the flashbacks told in the story. I feel it is probably the best book he has written to date.

Summary: MUST READ COURTROOM DRAMA!!!!!!!
Review: I found this book through Ent. Weekly and have read all of his books since then. John Grishim is great but Richard North is just as good if not better. Anyone who likes courtroom drama should read Silent Witness or anything by Richard North Patterson. But since wer'e talking about Silent Witness I will say that it kicks ass!! I read this book out of the blue and could not put it down once I started.I must reccomend this book to fans to all genres because it has something for everyone!!!!

Summary: Long time since I read late and early A.M.
Review: This is the first of Patterson's books I've read. It was a real joy - with his style of twists and character descriptions. I will now read one of his earlier books

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Patterson is a master at creating believable characters.
Review: Each of Patterson's previous books had interesting, believable characters and this one was no exception. As a legal thriller it was compelling but I enjoyed the complexities of the characters (even the minor ones), and the style of writing, almost as much as the plot

Summary: What A Waste Of Time
Review: I read thruogh the lengthly 500 pages and was disappointed by the anticlimatic ending. Come on now. Can we get more original here

Summary: I couldn't turn the pages fast enough!
Review: SILENT WITNESS grabbed me from the first few pages. From the beginning, I could not put the book down - my eyes would close first! Richard North Patterson writes with a style that enables the reader to really understand the characters and feel what they feel. This book is written in such a way that I felt that I was in Lake City with the characters. Like Eyes of a Child, this book was riveting, yet disturbing at the same time. Even though I have finished the book, I feel that the characters are still with me. Patterson has a way of making you think you know these characters and you keep trying to figure them out even after the book is finished. I read Private Screening right before reading Silent Witness and it was a perfect background to Tony Lord. I hope that Patterson carries these characters forward in future books.

Summary: A great Read
Review: I am never disappointed with a Patterson book. Usually he starts out slow , but builds up the suspense slowly. This time out I was hooked from opening pages. Patterson's characters are totally believable and the plots are within the scope of reality. I thought The Final Judgement was the best of his books, but this one has topped it

Summary: A story for the Heart and Mind
Review: It has been several years since a book has touched me in the manner this book did. Patterson has a way of making you feel the emotions the characters are experiencing

Rating: 2 stars
Summary: Silent Witness a real snoozer
Review: I'm a Richard North Patterson fan so I could hardly wait to get my hands on his latest legal thriller. Having read the book, I must admit that it is a real bore. Filled with stock and uninteresting characters, the pace is extraordinarily slow and the story, predictable. Midway through the book I was certain I knew "who did it", and I was right. The sad thing was, I just didn't CARE who did it. I just wanted the book to end. I stayed up until 1:30am to finish this book just wishing that SOMETHING interesting would happen. Would that I could reclaim those hours of sleep... Give me "Eyes of a Child" anytime over this one!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: HARD TO PUT DOWN!! ONE OF HIS BEST!!
Review: I bought this book because I have enjoyed his previous books. I wasn't disappointed! MORE, MORE!
