Review: This book has a nice smattering of erotic elegy from various authors including Catullus, Ovid, Propertius, and Tibullus. Miller includes commentary on each author that discussed his life, background and style. He also had helpful notes in the back to assist the Latin student in his or her translation.
I would recommend this book to anyone who is interested in gaining some experience in translating erotic elegy! (Also, there is enough space between the lines to write in vocabulary!).
