Review: Maya Angelou has spent years writting adult books and it's about time she started writting for children! This book is really nice. The book starts out with a picture of Maya when she was young and these word... When I was a little girl, I looked around at my world. It was small, so was I. The my world began to grow with each child I came to know. Now I try, Now I dare to make a new friend everywhere.

This is the story of a boy who is afraid to swim and with the help of his Uncle and his new fish! Maya is a wonderful storyteller and I like every much that she is trying to get children from all over the world to notice they are more alike than they are different! I also like that the book also includes a paperdoll of each child in the story. Lizzy Rockwell also does a great job illustrating the book, and I look forward to getting the other 3 books and hopes soon that Maya writes one soon on a child from China!
