Summary: Shows volkish racism in a new light
Review: As the grandson of a Nazi schoolteacher and with relatives in the Waffen SS Totenkopf division on the Eastern front i found this book highly interesting adn would recommend it to anyone interested in extremeist politics. I am myself a pan-germanic/european nationalist i feel that this is a great book showing the future race wars as imenent.

Summary: Bring lots of caffine
Review: Dear Jesus, how did a book like this stay in publication so long? The fact that this book is racist propaganda is not the gripe I have with it, although that doesn't help it. Racism is a major part of many great novels (Although a book doesn't need to involve racism to be great). I've even read other books with racism as the main concept that I enjoyed, but didn't take to heart - only a feeble minded individual would do something like that. The main problem I have with this book is how incredibly boring it is.

The Turner Diaries has to be one of the most boring forms of "entertainment" or "art" created in the history of all time. Think of the most boring thing you've ever endured and multiply it by ten. That's what reading the Turner Diaries is like.

The plot is basically like this: All the minorities and Jews have banded together (Because all minorities and jews do is conspire when they're not 'stealing our jobs') and overthrown the government of America. And now the white mans world is hell. Then, out of the blue a rag-tag group of whites bands together and goes on a juggernaut geurilla crusade cleansing the superarmy of minorities and jews and saving America.

Eventually the author of the diary gets to some building, I don't even remember what it was since this book put my mind in a stupor the likes of which even physics can match, and crashes a plane or some such of suicide method into it, all the while he gives some heroic speech and the crowd below to him replies in unison. I guess cue cards were a secret weapon of the geurilla white army because i've never seen a crowd respond the same way. And somehow the Turner guy gets to write this all down in his diary why he kills himself. That's one tough diary, they should make cars out of the same material.

Not to mention the book is written in the most boring, monotonous way you can imagine. I've read cook books less repetitive.

Whatever you do, DO NOT buy this book unless you want to see what an empty space a Racial supremists mind is. And buy a lot of caffine.

Summary: Hauntingly beautiful with stunning prose
Review: For all this talk of abject racism, I thought the portrayal of the Puerto Ricans was more than charitable, especially given Mr. Macdonald's views on those who were not blessed with the pale hand of god. I mean, the way he described little Lupita and her horse set the benchmark for white supremacy prose. I found the image of the horse to be hauntingly beutiful, and franky--a little erotic. A great book to take to the beach, if you can find an untainted (if you have to ask, you wouldn't understand) beach somewhere in northern Canada. Remember to bring plenty of suncreen, though. You wouldn't want your friends making fun of you when you get back.

Summary: This book was great!
Review: How could you not like this book? I think it portrays what every white person thinks but is too afraid to say. It is definitely a social commentary on a slippery slope, but I think the author was just living out his fantasy in a book. This book reads very quickly and should be a recommended text for schools just like Elie Wiesel and Anne Frank. Why not make us read one more book that makes us hate ourselves?

Review: I read this book at was amazed at the ignorance. The sroty is slow and spotty. The system has no real deffinition. The organization is more a stooge group than a threat. being a solider I can assure that if a group like this ever caused as much as they did we would take them out with little effort. the best of the organization is at best on the same level of the lowest skilled solider I know. all in all this book is no more than a mad man idea of what will never happen and I pitty him for having to be this dumb. If you do want to read it I would advise doing so in smal increments for your brain will tire of the neverending raceist slang, the hatered, and the McGuyver meets Barny Fife meest Hitler main cahricter.

Summary: "Objective" review
Review: Reading a book like this and then reviewing it objectively is tough, as it so, so opionated and hateful, but I'm gonna try to review this as a book, not a piece of racist propaganda.
As far as I can tell this book has the most merit in that while it is fiction, it gives the normal person insight into the mind of a real radical. The only book that I can think of that does this better would be the imfamous Mein Kamf. Also, I found staging this fantasy as a journal to be somewhat original.
Nothing else about this novel makes it all appealing. It's tedious, drawn out to it's barest thread and boring as all hell. There are literally dozens of pages between action events, or any events at all. And when the climatic mass genocide finally happens, the reader is merely decensitized until they just don't care. The characters are utterly one dimensional and unbelievable. The members of "The Organazation" (original, yes?) are perfect Nordic european examples of their race, while the blacks are all depicted as rapist animals and the jews are all apparently sumbliminally connected (jewdar?) in a mass conspiracy to control and generally undo the white race. I know, I know, it's to be expected with this book, but this is a book, not a pamphlet. Finally the prose is awful. It reads like a drunk wall street analyst wrote it. Theres no artistic flare, and hackneyed phrases are used and reused throughout the book. Bottom line: as propaganda, or a study in that, it works, a book it sucks.
Thats my objective review. Here my two cents that's not:
Mr. Macdonald or what ever your real name is, in the after life (he died in 2002)I am sure you are friendly with Mr. Adolf Hitler. If you would, please tell him that I've read both your books, and having finished that task, I've done something that should make Mr. Hitler proud. I burned them.

Review: This a truly great book for anyone who wants to learn about the problems in America today.

Summary: Read on an empty stomach
Review: This book should be required reading for anyone who wants to remain aware of what the right-wing extremists are up to. It's poorly written, with undevloped characters and all that, but what's really important is the message, which is, in a nutshell (emphasis on the "nut") that a race war is coming and anyone not like the author must be killed. It ends with all the non-whites dead and whitey living in peace and harmony forever. It doesn't count on the fact that people of conscience (that is, the overwhelming majority of the people on Earth) would have banded together and defeated the tiny numbers of sociopaths who actually believe what this book has to say. To call the ideas in this book Neanderthal would be a compliment. This is Hitler stuff, but at least Hitler had enough sense to use the people he hated as slaves. The author is the founder of the National Alliance, which is a neo-Nazi group. But, as repugnant as it was, it was still very eye-opening, in a "so that's what those psychos are up to" way. Don't give MacDonald your money by buying this book. Borrow it from the library, then buy Al Franken's books to cleanse the venom from your soul.
