Rating: Summary: Classic Ghetto Entertainment Review: Sheisty touches on several common issues when it comes to a group of female friends from the hood. Pick up pretty much any hood novel on a similar topic and you are sure to find tales of deceit, betryal, baby daddy drama and yes you guessed it, overall "sheisty" activities. Despite its clichés and poor editing, I found Sheisty to be an entertaining read. Epiphany, Keisha and Shana's drama with their respective boo's and with each other adds up to a page turning ghetto tale that at least in my opinion, will have you waiting for part 2.
Rating: Summary: Friends or Foes? Review: Debut author T.N. Baker introduces three best friends and all of their drama in the novel SHEISTY. Epiphany Wright grew up in a two-parent home, and what she lacked in love and parental guidance was made up for in material things. At a tender age, she learned the art of gold digging and has used that along with her father's drug money as a way to make a living. She constantly uses guys for what they can provide for her, until she hooks up with a gangster named C-God who threatens to destroy everything Epiphany has- her friendships, her sanity, and even her life.
Everyone thinks that Keisha Moore has the perfect life. With a fine, wealthy fiancé, a nice home, an excellent education, and a baby on the way, things could not appear to be better. Yet Keisha is scared and lonely. Ultimately, her loneliness will drive her to do the unthinkable, and her life will never be the same.
Shana Scott is the wild child of the bunch. She is into drinking, drugs, and having a good time. Shana has always secretly been envious of all that Epiphany has, and that jealousy leads her to commit serious actions with dire consequences that affect all of the friends.
SHEISTY was a quick read and as the title suggests full of drama. Although the characters are colorful, the author could have spent a little more time developing them. In addition, there were many typographical and grammatical errors that were a huge distraction. Nonetheless, the action kept the book moving and keeps me anxious to see the fate of the friends in the sequel Still Sheisty.
Rating: Summary: The title tells it all Review: Everyone's life is complicated in some way. You would think Kiesha's got it good. But what makes her better then the other two. Why? Cause her man go out and make the dirty money for her. NO! And it looks like she got a little wild side to her also. So for the ladies out there quick to think your friend has it so good. Take a look at the fine print. Cause when the cops come kickin in the door. She goin out right with him.
Rating: Summary: Big Up For Southside Jamaica Queens Review: I love the fact that this book's setting was in Southside Jamaica Queens where I'm from. It was fun to read about the spots they talked about and I knew where they were. It was also strange because some of the characters seemed familiar, like one named Tucker, even though I know it was probably a coincidence.
Overall the book had a lot of drama from all of the girls especially Epiphany. I wonder if she got killed or not? See you got to read the book it was very enjoyable street novel.
Rating: Summary: STRAIGHT FROM A SELF-PUBLISHED AUTHOR Review: I purchased this book for my daughter and she enjoyed it so much that I found time in my busy schedule to read it. Excellent job. I really enjoyed not one but BOTH of your books. Stay creative.

Rating: Summary: Excellent book but can you say EDITOR? Review: If you like gangsta, hood books then this is really good. I love those type books so started reading this book at 7:30 pm and was finished at 11pm. It was awesome!!!!!!!! I thoroughly enjoyed it but the TYPOS really detracted form the book. I am so looking forward to still sheisty to see what happened.
Rating: Summary: Put aside the editing Review: Sheisty was what these chickens were, even the good girl. That damn Epiphany was a hot mess. I wanted to beat her down for being so stupid. Good book to read if you want to read about sheisty people.
Rating: Summary: Sheisty writing Review: The content is entertaining, but the grammar and typo errors need attention...I would purchase part 2, just tofind out the conclusion of the whole matter. In all, it was real to life situations; the author did a good job with that. I would recommend the book for others to read.
Rating: Summary: Inspiration Review: This book has inspired me! I am going to write!
If this book can be published and has absolute nothing to talk about... I know I can come up with some thing to keep readers glued to the pages. Please do not buy this book. It is not worth it. I finished it last night and I don't really remember what it was about. The only interest I had in this novel was the main character name Epiphany (interesting name). The book was based on a lot of drama, lies, and ghetto girls looking for money.
I can write about that!
