Review: By now, I've read all of EDJ's books and am a hugh fan. Cheater's however, was the ultimate, my favorite, and absolutely off the hook. The story was completely engrossing from the first through the last sentence. I hated for the story to end, algthough he brought it to a very satisfying conclusion. As the book cover synoposis explains, the story revolves around the African-American dating scene in L.A., and the trials and tribulations associated with loving them and leaving them on the one hand and finding someone for a one-on-one relationship on the other. It also deals with personal growth and the consequences associated with two people who are either on the same page in terms of their goals and/or are growing together or growing apart (with respect to dreams, plans, aspirations). Lastly, it deals with stunted emotional growth and the personal hell people put themselves and others through as they struggle to deal with their inner pain and/or short-comings. Dickey's treatment of all of the scenerios he creates was truly gifted. The book is funny, serious, poignant, sexy, hot and irresistably engrossing. Dickey should no longer be compared to Terry McMillian (Exhale). He has raised the bar and created the NEW standard in depicting meaningful Africian-American relationships, and penning stories that help us see ourselves, enjoy ourselves and perhaps learn something about ourselves along the way. I'm looking forward to the movie, too! Thanks again, EDJ. I'm eagerly awaiting your next book!

Review: Cheaters is a good book and i know the play will be great. the way the characters meet up is unexpected. the game, the lies, the purpose of love and the was it's found is very twisted in this book. it's a definite must read.

Review: Cheaters was a very real book that takes whoever reads it into someone elses life. Through lies, cheaters and real friends. It shows how cheaters cheat and how the ones that get cheated on react. It's sad, funny , and crazy at times and it tells it all like it is.

Review: Eric Jerome Dickey brings the characters to life in this book. This book featured everything it was funny, romantic, sexy and at sometimes even sad, I loved the versatility of it. I found myself reading it every chance I got, it is a definite page turner. Although, this is a fiction novel it seemed so real and I love the fact that Dickey can write from both the male and female perspective. I wonder how did he do it? I am looking forward to reading the rest of his novel. This was my first novel by Dickey if the others is just as good I will read them all!!

Review: I've read five novels by EJD. I started with Friends & Lovers which was really good. But this one is his best effort. Mainly because of the way each character is drawn out to look at each of their lives and make a choice to change. Parts of the book to me were touching(and it didn't even involve the main two characters). That's also a great thing about the book. The fact that his side characters have stories of their own. Friends and Lovers did that too, but not on the scale in this book. And in the conclusion, the book does flip on you, but if you know the value of never letting your dreams go, it will all make sense.

Review: The book "Cheaters" by Eric Jerome Dickey was recommended to me by a couple of my friends who read it before. It all starts of with 3 friends one which is married named Darnell, second is Jake who is engaged and the third the main character Stephan who loves them and then leaves them. This book is really good if you like drama and can take jokes. It also has a lot of descriptions of sex scenes if you are really into all that (yummy!). I really enjoyed the book because I'm the type of person that reads to escape from the world I'm living, and this book really described everything perfectly like every scenario and plot. I really recommend this book. I gave it 5 stars because I couldn't put the book down at all and I finished it in like less than a week (yes it was that good!).
What I think you guys will love about this book is that the women do get cheated on but they get back! They are not stupid enough to take some things like that.

Review: This book Cheaters by Eric Jerome Dickey was really good.When you read the book you feel as if you are there the whole time. Everything that the characters in the book went through, you are saying to yourself i know excatly what they are going through.I have read this book many times and all his other books that he has written.Eric Jerome Dickey has three best-sellers books and he also has a movie,but his stories are so exciting and dramatic.Once you start reading you never want to put the book down you always wanna know what's going on.I wish that he made a sequel to that book because it keeps you wondering and guessing. I liked the book because it was dramatic and it kept you guessing it was a very interesting book and it made you think more about how you would want your life to turn out. His stories to me are based on everyday life and everyone's life is different so it would cause the book to be funny, interesting, dramatic and unlike anything else.

Review: This was the 1st book I've read by Eric, and this was at least a year ago. When I read the book I read the book IN LESS THAN 3 DAYS I seriously couldn't put it down. I like the way he breaks down the characters in each chapter. Though I've only read 2 of his books this is the best! and a suggestion don't read this a night unless you don't have plans the next day because you will read it nonstop!

Review: This was the first book by Eric Jerome Dickey that I had read and I had heard alot of good things about it. It was a fun read and was better than I expected although it was a little slow sometimes but overall I enjoyed it. Its one that you could read more than once!
