Summary: Amen
Review: After reading your previous book "Gangsta" I knew for sure you were going places and would continue to do your thing. But never would I think you would do it so lovely where do you come up with some of things, it doesn't matter just keep doing your thing so I can continue to be a HAPPY READER! Oh and another thing the only thing that mad me mad was the the two character's Lou-Loc and Gutter where featured in the book, it kind of messed it up for me being that I read "Gangsta" 1st for those who read it know what I mean.

Summary: The Testament
Review: I knew what the author was trying to do in this book and I respect him for that, but in my oppinion, the book appeared to be hurried. The author has several excellent characters in the book, the best is Demon, a lean, mean, negro killing machine, who I would have liked to have read more about in the book. The author appeared to put a lot of thought into the book but seemed to have a lot of difficulty with expressing his ideas and quite simply, the book lacked the energy that it needed to make it the extraordinary story that I had expected it to be. The book, eventhough filled with several twists and turns, I think, is very predictable, and the ending went just as I had expected. In short, the author does have skills, but unfortunetly, this is not the novel that they are best displayed.

Review: I read Gangsta and I enjoyed it. K'wan really did his thing with Road Dawgz. This book is off the hook. I had two days off from work and read Road Dawgz in one day.... I could'nt put the book down. I see best seller written all over this book. Keep up the good work K'wan.

Summary: Excellent reading!!
Review: I read Gangsta, but Road Dawgz was better. From beginning to end it kept you open. The ending was the best. It went out with a "bang" and I mean that literally. Good Job, K'wan!!

Summary: Another Triple Crown Winner !!!!!
Review: I was getting a little nervous about TCP books until I picked Road Dawgz up. What an insightful read. Real nitty gritty street stuff with some excellent poetry added in. You see many street books have the same ol' same ol' but this book stands on it's own. It reminded me of the story Dutch by Teri Woods very very creative.

Summary: If this is reform, I hate to see what it was like before....
Review: Road Dawgz is a more detail account of Gangsta's with the exact same story line, the same characters(a few with different names some the same) a more extensive look from the drug side with an increasingly higher body count.

Here we meet Keshawn a.k.a K-Dawg conceived from madness this young brotha emerges with a hate in his heart, and a hustle in his soul. Nothin' small for this young hustla who served a 5-year bid for killing his step father.

K-Dawg builds the Road Dawgz with the help of an old head turned crackhead and his childhood friends. With him at the lead they turn the heat up in the game! Dirty Cops, Snitches, Murderous Plots, Ride or Die girls, Safe Houses, Pimps, Hoes, Thieves, Dysfunctional families, and of course they gotta live in the projects how else would this work!

I was kind of spent to see Lou Loc, Gutter, and Flaco (I'm counting to see how many lives poor Flaco might of had!) I can't front K'wan kept me page turning! I started and finished this book on 09/27/03

A very true depicition of what life is about and not just hood life! Don't be fooled..............

Summary: Road Dawgs was so GOOD
Review: This book was so good, I felt like I knew K-dawg. I will definitely be reading more of this authors books. I am a huge fan of Triple Crown Publishing and they do know how to bring it street style.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A little better than your average "street" novel
Review: This was a very good book. K'wan has come a long way since "Gangsta." This book is about a typical hustler that rises to the top. What sets this book apart from the others is the interesting ending and the cast of characters. K'wan has developed people you will either love or hate. It is the invocation of that kind of emotion that makes this a great book. A must read.
