Rating: 4 stars
Summary: High Class Drama
Review: I'm not upper middle or high class, but I felt I could enjoy that life and its problems through, "Never Kiss and Tell." The characters were captivating! There was excellent use of forshadowing, and somehow I was still surprised at what came next! Howard provided excellent character development and made sure to tie all loose ends! Great Job Tracie! This book is a must read!

Summary: Never Kiss and Tell
Review: I have to agree with Wildflower's previous assessment. The book started off pretty slow and did not catch real momentum until about the middle. Normally, I would have stopped reading, but based on the merit of Tracie's previous work I continued and I am glad I did. I give this book 3 1/2 stars.
Never Kiss and Tell is the story of Brooke Parrish, a psychotherapist who has eluded relationships with men because of a prior abusive marriage. She throws herself instead into work and shopping. That is until a chance encounter with Taylor Hudson, an up-and-coming investment banker. The only hitch is Taylor is already married. Then there is Taylor's wife Kiernan who has enough skeletons to fill two closets. She has become accustomed to their lifestyle and is not willing to let Taylor go without a fight. So she seeks the advice of psychotherapist Brooke Parrish. And so the fun begins. Should Brooke continue to treat Kiernan after she discovers she is Taylor's wife? Should Brook use her role as therapist to get some much needed information from her? Information that could save her relationship with Taylor. Add to this already boiling pot some accusations of money laundering, an unexpected pregnancy, and some cheating lovers and you have an enjoyable read.

Summary: Telling It Like It Is
Review: It took nearly 110 pages for this to truly grab my attention; for this reason I give it only three stars. Beyond that point, I couldn't put it down. However, 110 pages is a bit of a stretch before introducing some real drama! Leading up to that point, the characters were pretty predictable. I am still a fan of Howard's, but must say that, of her two solo ventures, I prefer "Why Sleeping Dogs Lie". (Be sure to check that out.) I love Tracie's knowledge and zest for the gritty, yet upscale lives of prominent African-Americans.

That being said, she seems to flow much better with her writing partner, Danita Carter ("Talk of the Town", "Revenge Is Best Served Cold" & "Revenge Is the Best Success"). Together these ladies are fierce! "Never Kiss & Tell" is worth the read; there are quite a few surprises (one in particular that will leave your jaw hanging!) but not enough drama.

Summary: Don't Rush and Buy
Review: This book took me a long time to really get into it, it was very slow and dragged on an then at the end it was like the author rushed the ending.

Summary: Glitz and Glamour
Review: Tracie Howard is back with another saga surrounding the glitz and glamour of New York's elite. In NEVER KISS AND TELL we are introduced to psychotherapist Brooke Parrish. While trapped in an elevator, Brooke meets the illustrious investment banker Taylor Hudson. After getting to know Taylor a little better, deep in her heart she believes he is the one for her, until he reveals his marital status.

Taylor's marriage to Kiernan Malloy ended before it had a chance to begin. Kiernan, sensing her husband's betrayal, seeks the advice of none other than psychotherapist Brooke Parrish. Kiernan uses an alias so Brooke is unaware she is Taylor's wife. For those wondering what transpires when Brooke learns of Kiernan's true identity, you will have to read NEVER KISS AND TELL to find out.

Tracie Howard has delivered another fast-paced easy read. Readers who have followed her career know her novels are filled with a slew of secondary characters with issues of their own. NEVER KISS AND TELL is a well-written novel with an intriguing plot and climactic ending. (RAW Rating: 3.5)
