Rating: Summary: Hot Funky Mess! Review: A hot funky mess is exactly what Sasha Henderson is to anyone within her presence! A beautiful black successful attorney, who in the same instance is ignorant, stupid and selfcentered. She has friends who will drop any and everything to run to her rescue and what does she give them in return? Harsh words, betrayal and heartache. Kayla is definitely a follower. She rallies behind Sasha like flies to Suga, Honey, Ice, Tea. She often bites her tongue instead of going with her gut instinct to please Sasha's demands. Charmaine, the lesbian proves women play just as many games as men, playing with the heart of Delia. Although, Charmaine is a true friend to Sasha, feeling that she owes her after she stands up for her in highschool only to have Sasha kill feelings and deminish their relationship with hurtful words and being unappreciative. Sandra is the aids infected, fiesty, welfare mom who has you counting your blessings. She has a heavy load, dealing with the disease and trying to raise her kids all alone. Yet, Sasha somehow thinks that any and everything she's going through is far more important since Sandra's already on her death bed. Karen is the petite, loyal, passive friend who puts any and everyone above her own needs. Together these ladies experiences have you on edge, making you realize that people are put in your life for a reason. This book comes full circle, delivering the message of what goes around comes back around.
Rating: Summary: Don't judge a book.... Review: Although the cover was not appealing to me, the bookstore clerk said it was the bomb! He was not lying. Despite being a bit confusing the way it was written in first and third person, it turned out to be a very exciting read. I like the way Ms. Campbell used the story to show that 'it really is a small world after all'. Good story with unbelievable sex thrown in for good measure! More like 4.5 stars. There is one charactar in particular that will have you saying 'Oh hell naw'!! This one is a keeper. Hats off to Denise Campbell!!!!
Rating: Summary: Another Waste of my Precious Time Review: I couldn't finish this book. Most of the time I will finish a book if I start it because it normally gets better through the book. Well, I couldn't force myself to because I am not interested. And the worst part is that the book is written in such a confusing way, that it is hard to follow the story and I feel like I barely know what the story is about. By the time you get to page 40 or so, you should at least be interested. Maybe I will try again, after I read these other books that are waiting on me, but as for now.....it is a waste of my time. I sort of have Brenda Hampton to thank for not being able to read just any ole thing. Her books are the bomb, and I am reading other stuff waiting on her to come out with some more books. Personally, Denise's writing style doesn't cut it for me.

I DIDNT WONT TO READ IT BECAUSE I DIDNT LIKE THE COVER OF THE BOOK. MY FRIEND ON THE JOB BROUGHT THE BOOK AND SAID IT IS SO GOOD PLEASE READ IT SHE GAVE ME THE BOOK AND I ENJOY THE WHOLE BOOK.
Rating: Summary: Have you checked your sistah lately? Review: Ladies, can you really trust your girlfriends? Denise Campbell has crafted an insightful tale about sisterhood that will have you questioning your girls. Ms. Campbell used each of the main characters to depict a different relationship issue that females sometimes face. She introduces secondary characters to show how small the world we live in really is. The combination of friendship, betrayal, deceit and steamy sex made this novel hard for me to put down. I found myself glued from the very beginning to the climatic ending.Reviewed by Brenda M. Lisbon of The RAWSISTAZ Reviewers Complete review can be found on our website...
Rating: Summary: Excellent!!!! Review: Love Thy Sister......was one of the best books I've read recently. It's way out of the guns and roses stage and aside from the inconsistency with first and second person along with a typo here and there, it really does demonstrates excellent writing. I felt really sorry for Sandra throughout the entire book. Charmaine, Kayla, and Karen represent friends that many of us wish we had and Sasha is a friend that unfortunately many of us do have. Death penalty, realistically, I'm still on the fence with but in this case she got what she deserved.
I loved it!
