Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Deeply moving and written with care and eloquence.
Review: Ron Hutchinson has written a thought-provoking and deeply moving script about the struggle in Northern Ireland. The interrogation of an IRA detainee by a member of the Royal Ulster Constabulary is both intense and humourous all at once. Michael "Demon Bomber" Roche (IRA) and Detective Inspector Nelson (RUC) need each other to justify their existence. They battle each other with a volley of unrelenting, passionate speeches. Roche is not unlike a wary animal, caged, but by no means defeated. Nelson, meanwhile, is caught between what is and what will always be: A fight in the family. Excellent reading. Catch the show if you can or, if you're an actor, get involved in the production as I did.
