Summary: Very Hot and Intense Read!!!!!
Review: Devin Alexander is a man on a mission to become every woman's dream man because of a haunting secret from his past with a former love. He engages in 3 passionate affairs with women who struggle with his inability to commit to a monogamous relationship but continue to love him anyway because he treats them with all the love, respect and romance that all women are looking for in any man. When the past comes back to haunt him, he will finally face his demons and the results is astonishing. Great read because of the intense storyline. I couldn't put this book down until I finished it. Rique took us in a different direction with this book and it proves that he is a man of many talents when it comes to his writing. Great Book Rique!!!! Thanks for allowing me to have a sneak preview and the honor of writing the first review.

Summary: Not What the Title Suggests - Better
Review: Devin Alexander is a man who cannot commit. He's been deeply scarred and although he knows how to treat a woman, the ultimate commitment a woman would want, eludes him. In Every Woman's Man, Devin's life is examined in both abstract and concrete terms.

Gabrielle, Maggie, and Kim have all been, at different times, romantic interests of Devin's. These three ladies all shared a part of themselves with Devin, and each expected his love in return. He showered them with lavish attention, gifts, and companionship but he was unable to even so much as utter the "L" word to them. Among his admirable qualities, he was able to be upfront and open with the women from the very beginning. Even though each lady accepted his honesty, all secretly hoped they would be the one to change him.

As he progressed from relationship to relationship, he accepted his wounds and to a degree nursed them. He was aware of his inability to fully give himself to a woman, but didn't quite know how to get over the hurdle. When Sophia came into his life things changed. Sophia had an uncontrollable power over Devin that neither fully understood, but their bond was unmistakable and undeniable.

The sex scenes in Every Woman's Man were hot, I've got to give it to Rique, he can stir up the juices while weaving a story. But I must say his ability to tell a story was even better than the scenes. Judging a book by its title isn't the best, because one assumes from this title, Devin would be an eligible player. As you read, you discover Devin was a man who simply hadn't faced his demons. Will he ever be able to conquer his fears?

Summary: Reaming with steamy, hot love scenes...
Review: How refreshing... In this novel, readers are treated to one of Rique's diverse styles of writing. Different from his previous releases ("Love & Justice" and "Whispers From a Troubled Heart"), "Every Woman's Man" reveals this author's more sensual style. This novel is reaming with steamy, hot love scenes, and the main character, Devin Alexander, is essentially every woman's dream man. Three relationships, three very different women... Yet Devin possesses the qualities in a man that each woman desires. However, struggling with his own issue, Devin is unable to commit, which turns out to be his downfall. He really wants to be in a stable, long-term relationship, but a past experience will not allow him. Again, I could relate with the characters, which makes reading Rique's work very enjoyable and entertaining. His fans will even be surprised, as I was, by a guest in one of the storylines. As with Rique's previous books, I was left with wanting more, and I am looking forward to reading his next novel.

Summary: The "C" Word
Review: What makes a man or woman unable to commit in a relationship? Could the person they are dating not be the "one" for them? Did they have a traumatic experience in their past and are incapable of fully trusting another? Some people have no desire to commit, while others lead their significant other on, allowing them to think they do. EVERY WOMAN'S MAN by Rique Johnson deals with a man incapable of commitment.

Devin Alexander is every woman's dream man. He is considerate, sensitive, charming, romantic and attentive, not to mention fine as wine. Any woman would be happy to have Devin by her side. There is only one problem - due to a painful incident that happened in his past, Devin vowed never to commit or utter those three words women love to hear. What could possibly happen to make a man NEVER want to commit again?

Devin engages in three different relationships during different times of his life with three beautiful, smart and caring women. Each of them are determined to get the two things out of Devin that he refuses to give: his love and a commitment. But the demon that has a hold of Devin's heart refuses to let go. Will any of these ladies succeed in freeing Devin's heart and mind enabling him to trust enough to make a lifetime commitment?

EVERY WOMAN'S MAN is a sensual, steamy page turner that you will not want to put down. With so many men incapable of commitment, this novel gives us a little insight on what goes on in a man's heart and mind. We see that men hurt just like women and sometimes the hurt is a little deeper than the mind can even imagine. What I enjoyed most was reading about such a caring and romantic man who wanted to, but was unable to do the right thing. The story was well-written and you could easily relate to its strong characters. With just a touch of humor and wit and sex scenes that are sure to turn the heat up a notch, EVERY WOMAN'S MAN is a book that will get your fires burning and juices stirring.
