Summary: Red Hot Sex and Black Humour
Review: A terrific combination of satirical comedy and sizzling passion in this fast racy novel whose heroine genuinely lives up to the title.
Perhaps a little more of a black comedy than the The Wicked Stepdaughter but there's still plenty of slick one liners and some real funny scenes. Especially when the girls go out on the town and come up against some hookers.
This is real down-to-earth British humor and it's obviously written for women because the sex scenes are more about hot passion than who-put-what-where.
Great fun all round!

Summary: Smart, Sexy and Fun
Review: For starters I must sadly admit that a lot of what titles itself erotica is not really erotic, but dumb. It seems to miss the idea that if the writing is good, if the characters are actually approaching 3 dimensional, that the story is better and the sex is sexier.

Luckily, Wendy Harris does know this and even luckier, her writing is engaging, amusing and quite sexy. There were points where I actually laughed out loud while I read this book. The characters are 3 dimensional, their interactions are engaging, the sex is hot (although sometimes frustrating and silly as she intends it to be) and the dialog is quite realistic.

Pam has a giant millstone around her neck and her name is Janice. The two have been competing since preschool and now seem to be trapped at the same company, also competing for promotions. Of course, as this is erotica, the sexual antics ensue but lo and behold so does and actual story. Pam is witty and sharp and her asides about Janice are truly worth reading.

The humor has that darker British feel, which I appreciate. If you are looking for more than "Insert tab A into slot B" type of erotica, give this book a look.

Summary: Red Hot Sex and Black Humour
Review: Just getting into the first few pages and seeing the interaction between Pam and Janice I think that the publisher made a mistake and the title should have been 'The Bi..h and the Bi..h' ......

The two female heroines in this book have the foul mouthed vocabulary of a depraved sailor and the mores of, well, alley cats. The two of them pretty well fight through most of
the book since they each want what the other has, and, can ya believe it, they hated each other from day one in grade school. Now, in the working world, they share living accomodations!

If the author wanted to portray earthy gritty street level cat fighting and competition for sexual favours of two women, she succeeded, but, in that success I myself could never really get over the fact that as characters they are very distastefull low
life bottom feeding pond scum .... nothing much erotic in that mental picture that's for sure....

PS. Don't have anything against pond scum I just don't want to read about it ... OK

Summary: A RARE TREAT
Review: This book is a rare treat - an erotic novel that entertains as well as titillates. There is passion and raunchiness of course but, in between, the author delights with some hilarious scenes and snappy, witty dialogue. The characters are colourful, flawed and believable and this felt like a book about real people.
