Summary: The Red Caduceus
Review: When I started reading this book it brought back memories of a young man 37 yrs ago- who would , like the main character, become a Navy Corpsman-or as the Marines call us-"Doc". I served with the 1st Marines in 1968/69 and a lot of the writings in the book brought tears to my eyes.I think the story gave a very good insight into the war that's not very often thought about. Corpsmen were there when we were most needed-we never faltered-I'm glad someone finally wrote a book about us-thanks Gerald-Semper Fi "Doc Bo"
