Review: What a disservice to a brilliant author! Page 84 of the Scribner Paperback edition has old men in jogging shorts "pouncing" along the street. Pounding? Page 90: I wished I had some of the bland crackers I'd subsided (!!!) on during the first three months of nausea." And on the same page: "he began to love them though (sic) my eyes". Oh for the days of intelligent spell-checkers.
