Review: Breaking up was never so hard...

Going undercover at Galaxy Brides as one of the prospective mates to these Viking-like barbarians, Morrigan has no intention of getting chosen to stay. But, when Ualan of the Draig picks her to be his wife with the aid of his mystically glowing crystal, it is all she can do to say no.

Waking up from a drug induced night of torturous and unfulfilling pleasures, Morrigan discovers her spaceship has left without her and Ualan is claiming she is his wife. It's not exactly the story this reporter had in mind. And to make matters worse, Ualan refuses to take no for an answer.

Being cursed by the Gods was never so frustrating...

Prince Ualan is like all others of his race on the male dominated planet of Qurilixen. He is raised to trust the mystic powers around him and when it comes time to marry, he is ready to follow those powers to choose his life mate. When the stubborn, yet achingly beautiful, Morrigan refuses to accept their shared fate and his supreme authority over her, it is all he can do not to break her lovely neck.

5 DRAGONS!

Ms. Pillow has successfully crossed genres with the Barbarian Prince. While in her Mists of Midnight she created a ghostly world in set in the 1800's just outside the veil, in the Barbarian Prince she takes the reader to the future and creates an amazingly beautiful world on Qurilixen. She aptly describes a planet of mystical customs and an intriguing combination of medieval Europe and futuristic conveniences. Indeed, this reviewer eagerly waits the days when food simulators and cleaning droids exist on Earth. Her description of Ualan and his brother's homes reaches out to the reader's imagination and aptly fires it. One can clearly picture each venue in their mind's eye.

Ms. Pillow's own marvelous sense of humor plays itself out with the all too limited communications Morrigan has with her editor, Gus and well as Morrigan's views on life itself. A sneak peak of The Perfect Prince, book II of this series is presented at the end and for this reviewer the September cannot arrive soon enough. A fun, sensual read for a summer vacation!

I was captivated by the unique culture in DRAGON LORDS: THE BARBARIAN PRINCE, which was depicted in fascinating detail. To be able to marry one of their men would certainly fulfill a fantasy of mine. And speaking of men - this is the most intense, amorous and volatile hero of any book that I have had the pleasure to read. If you like your stories to have explosive conflicts and fiery sexual tension, then you will be devouring this book from the first page....

Summary: An innovated, excellent novel!
Review: I've had the pleasure of reading several of this author's works and there is a reason she gets such rave reviews from readers and reviewers alike--she truly deserves them!

The Barbarian Prince is a wonderful book with a vividly drawn world that will take your breath away. The hero is bold, arrogant, yet so sensitive it makes your heart ache for him. The heroine is a lot modern day career women and is easily identified with. I loved that she wasn't a meek and mild houseswife, but bold. She definately didn't need a man to be complete. It was great seeing these two very different, very stubborn people collide. I've read the book 3 times and haven't gotten tired of it. It's one of those.

Review: I've heard this book has won a lot of acclaim in the ebook industry and this writer really does have a versatile style that I'm very impressed with. I believe you can see some of her other work at www.michellepillow.com . I'm sure you'll be as amazed as I am with her stuff.

In The Barbarian Prince, Ms. Pillow gives us an exciting romance set on a future planet full of the sweetest alpha males you'd ever find. I am well aware this is a contradiction in terms, but you have to read it to believe just how well she pulled it off.
