Rating: Summary: A Work of Brilliance Review: It is impossible to overestimate the impact of this book on the domestic animals who read it. While the author has notably shied away from discussing recent trends in bovine recreation, his tome is otherwise a magnificent and profound rendering of modern educated American fauna in its highly socialized but ultimately carnal glory.
Some of my best friends are sheep, but before reading this book, I can't say I ever understood them. In "Mullins", however, our gross ignorance of mammalian instincts and habitats is put to the most stringest test; indeed, only the most shock-proof stereotypical slop is allowed to slip through.
Rating: Summary: Mullins = Merry Monkeyshine Review: Kraft's lighthearted romp through turn-of-the-millenium college culture is a must-read. This book is unique in its honest portrayal of the hilarity, confusion, consumption, dissipation, and sheer over-indulgence that is contemporary American Higher Co-Education, as only a novel by a museum mogul could be. It's all on display here.
