Rating: Summary: A Highly Entertaining Mystery Story Review: With his second Harry and Naomi Levine novel, author George Freedman presents another witty and thoughtful tale of mystery. This narrative deals with a timely subject--the threat of a terrorist attack here in the United States.
Harry and Naomi have discovered a terrorist plot to use a World War II-vintage LST to stage a biological attack on a Southern city. Harry's navy LST buddies, a colorful group of characters, join Harry and Naomi in an effort to stop the terrorists and save the day.
The author is a veteran of LST service during the Second World War, and much of the narrative is based on his real-life experiences. I highly enjoyed the book, and I look forward to the *next* Harry and Naomi Levine mystery!
