Summary: An easy to read, hilarious book
Review: Kiran Desai has a wonderful sense of humour and does a great job in writing it. I spent equal amounts of time in splits as i spent in reading the book. I dont know if you will appreciate it as much as i do since me being an indian i really connected with a lot of the really funny incidents in the book. Anyways, a simple story told in a simple style (no "flowery" prose like "God of small things" is stuffed with) with abundant humour. I'm looking forward to Desai next book!
