Hestia's flame and her circular hearth represent our deepest desires for connection - to home and community, to the natural world of which we are part, to Life itself. Ancient, silent and invisible as She is, Hestia is a powerful force in our world, and She promises us comfort, healing, and a way home. A remarkable book, and one which has a place of honour in my library.
