Rating: Summary: for scholars Review: As a college student taking feminist theory courses, i felt very frustrated by this book. It is full of terms that i felt i should probably know but didn't. I found the book to be dry and difficult to read as i stumbled through page after page of jargon. It seemed as if the book were written for the world of academia, not for the general public or students just beginning to get their feet wet. However, despite the difficulty with which i read it, i did find it to be a useful and informative book, if not a pleasure to read. It is full of information about the many different schools of thought in feminist theory.
