Review: I have shelves full of unread "dog books"... But I couldn't wait to open "Mud Heaven" the minute I got my hands on it! Margot's got the world of dogs covered. Pet dogs, Assistance Dogs, all are included in the pages of this book. I laughed out loud at some, and cried over others. And, if you pay close attention, you'll even learn some training tips woven into the delightful tales! An amazing first effort!

Her voice -- filled with compassion for both dogs and their people -- fills every page of these stories that inform both the mind and the heart. People looking for clues about how to improve their relationship with their companion will learn an effective and compassionate approach. And people who love dogs and are just looking for a good read will love this book too. Some stories made me laugh out loud; others made me teary. None left me unmoved.
