Review: Plays of the Holocaust: An international Anthology, edited by Elinor Fuchs is a book which is one that has been found not only provocative, but also inciteful. It contains the stories of Eli, a Mystery play of the Suffering of Isreal. This story was one of the best, written by Nelly Sashs. Also other stories include, Mister Fugue or Earth Sick, Aushwitz, Replika, Ghetto, and Cathedral of Ice. A book well worth reading, and something that will keep you up at night as well. Prepare to be not only horrified and disgusted, but also entertained by this wonderful piece of literature. It also includes a short introduction from Elinor Fuchs herself.
